Well, the real Golden trio in my opinion anyway.Alphonse Elric, Winry Rockbell, and Edward Elric (from left-to-right). Childhood best friends (and Al SHOULD have dragged Winry with him to the other side of the gate *shakes fist at Al*) On ice, and for the sake of ignoring the movie's horrible ending, they're all in Munich. All three of them.
I'd say they're the real golden Trio (rather than Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger) because... well... they look golden xD. Also, they have much more rounded and brave personalities than those three.Crappy shading, I know.
Ed is in his "German" clothes, Al... just some random clothes, since I had no reference, same with Winry... Winry's wearing clothes from her world, which look like modern clothes even though it's like... 1940 in her world and the World based on our world.

I disagree. I loved the movie endding. The point was for Ed and Al to be together again. And in the end they are, but thay had to leave everything else behind. And Al willingly sacrificed his life in Amestris to be with his brother. I think it was a good ending. It was well thought out, like how it's sad even though they end up being together, which is the point of the movie.

It's ok that Al didn't bring Winrey because she went all "I'm gonna hit you with a wrench if you don't let me in toward the gate" and he was like "Oh man she's serious I better let her in" Then she beat Ed to a pulp and they had beautiful grandchildren who look exactly like them. (It's true. I saw it in a OVA XD)

Funny how Ed and Al commited the geratest crime and still turned out fine while Winry waited patiently all those years and got zip, nada, nein. u_u

Oh, chapter 62 is the latest chapter out. But it goes without saying there's a 99.9% chance Ed and Winry will be together by the end of the manga.
