It is hard for me to get past how good Makuta and his robe look. Forget the undead warriors with the Knights Kingdom armor, which works out very well for them, by the way: take a look at that robe! i like how you captured the flow with those large purple Ben 10 tail things, and the bone/claw pieces that add both color and texture to it as well! Makes it look menacing too, what with the whole assumed bone aesthetic. It's all in all a very good look for him, can't get over how good it is

saw this on tumblr. It looks really fuckin good. I love how you got that robelike appearance to work with mostly horn pieces, and it all looks really streamlined. I hope the contest doesnt judge illegal builds though, because that staff looks like part of the mafia with how illegal (yet cool) the attachments look.

I dunno, are elastic bands illegal? Because that's the only thing I see that's maybe an issue. And to make it like that, the horns have to be attached at the top anyway, so I dunno where the illegal thing is.

makuta looks good but the skeleton guards would look better if one of them were mirrored

My point is that by mirroring them they don't change in any way other than being mirrors of each other, so the MOC stays the same, it doesn't all of a sudden get better if you mirror one of them

I'm getting a more 'Skeleton Warriors' vibe. Although the series was so short, and nobody seems to talk about it anymore, so I'm not sure the reference will be recognised. Just wondering, I'm seeing an elongated skull in Makuta's robe, is that intentional?
