Finally completed this drawing. This was a long project. This drawing measures 30"x40" and is the drawing that i have done at this size. It took long not only because of the size of the lion but because i did a full background. I tried to add as much detail as possible, which is hard to see in this photo. My biggest inspiration, apart from my love for animals, was the style of Ansel Adams. I love his photography work and the impact that his contrast in his black and white photographs have. My goal was to have that dramatic look in a wildlife scene. Im really happy with the results and im glad im done. Thanks to everyone who followed the progress.
