Info: My first unicorn, ever! I had a lot of fun making this look completely and utterly unrealistic (well, mostly the tail). Also, creative title? I guess I'm in that sort of mood.
The Good: I like the mane and tail, for once.
The Bad: A few things. The forelock.

Hmm, well, I normally use adjustment layers, or solid colours set on the layer style 'overlay' over the top at different opacities. It's really trial and error, to be honest

This should have many more comments, It's such a well done manip. The colors flow together and give off a nice sad melancholy feeling. And the subtle little butterfly is really nicely done. The main and tail are soft and fluffy, and the horn is an amazing shape.

Oh... sorry, I sort of got that but my French is awful.
I cut and pasted him, but I did a lot of adjustment to make him look better. Does that answer your question?
