yeah, anyone can take part. The WIP thread is where to start, challenges generally go from early saturday to midnight thursday. And there's monthly ones too- though the standards there are crazy high most of the time as people have longer to hack away at their pics.

Coloured lines, and a seperate coloured layer for the ghost set to colour dodge if I remember correctly. Same way I did the ice in the brain picture.

Thanks very much! The ghost was the easiest part actually... just paint it on a different layer. The alien's skin was the trickiest thing, but it was a lot of fun
