Heya guys. This was a pretty big piece for me. As some may know I've been dealing with the death of a close friend. I found myself getting inspired by 's angelarium series. It has also reminded me of a series of gods I started back when I first started learning how to paint digitally. I've been thinking of repainting some of them since my quality of art from back then is.... not to my liking.ΒAnyways, pretty straight forward, Azrael the angel of death examining a flower. Interpret it as you wish.

OH WOWOW <333 your painting skills are seriously amazing!! i love the way you painted the pieces of the cloth with the way it contrasts the red and the cyan tones - it adds such a lovely depth and interest! i adore the red glow that comes from between the 'feathers' of the wings and just their entire look is so dark and mystical <33 the shape and colours of the clouds in the background gives this such a classical oil painting feel which is just lovely and so congruent with the subject matter.

Yes, in my worlds cosmology. There are Gods, Golem, Emotionals, Shadow, Fate, and creators/destroyers.
Golems are the physical environment of elements.

Interesting. I'm curious to see what you create. I really wish I had a more solid style. I have my own world I'd like to create but it's a long term life goal. Probably won't get to it till I'm well into my 30's since it's so complicated XD

Thanks. Haha! Don't worry, you're not a lone. I've been working on it for about 6/7 years. I'm only 17 and I'm not even close to being done. I'm still trying to figure out geography.

Yeah, I think a lot of creatives develop their own worlds in their heads as some point. It's just a matter of sorting through storylines, characters, creatures, anatomy, omg so much stuff.... It's a massive endeavor.
