Description
It has been a while since I've seen origami, let alone thought of what to make of it... there's more to the art of paper folding then cranes, after all, though there's an old superstition that says if you are patient and committed enough to fold a thousand of that particular design, then you'd get to make a wish. I had to look up other forms of origami, however, to suit the theme of the spooky season, and I found several shapes of folded paper that are appropriate for Halloween (let alone a ghost), and one of them just so happened to be bats, which are basically the yin to a crane's yang: they both fly, but bats are black mammals that fly at night while cranes are white daytime birds.

This picture is a flashback or memory of when the Wren twins were young, and Jenny just started out as a ghost while Joey is trying to cope with the changes that come from his sister being technically dead. Even though her body was already cremated at this point, Joey has been folding paper cranes to make his wish of her coming back to life. Despite sharing that same wish, Jenny has other plans "for now" as she shows off the new ghost powers to her brother by making the paper bats she folded be able to fly, and she did the same for her brother's cranes while she was at it, leaving him in awe of her ghostly powers.
