did you use the same yellow marker and added like ten layers to make it darker? -is having trouble getting shading out of same yellow marker for her ed hair-

i only use yellow and orange......if u look at the "coloring of edo" u will see that i lay down a layer of clean yellow first ...being sure not to touch the lines........then i use each subsequent layer of yellow to pull ink from the line art...onto the yellow. then i do the same thing with the orange......but only using half the layers..and being careful to preserve some of the original layer of yellow for the highlights......then...if needed(i may apply a light shade of grey for additional shadows.)......
basically i use 7-10 layers of color for ed's hair......3 for his eyes.
