I love the color scheme and the anatomy/pose!

For the surf I recommend a little useful trick I learned from a book, you take a normal round brush and go to the brush options and amplify the spacing and the scattering and mess around with the opacity and airflow, you can get a more realistic effect with that.
And I notice you use the smudge tool a lot to blend colors, I recommend you try to use more opacity and airflow(believe, its a lot easier, I know from fact because I used to use the smudge tool A LOT) I have no idea how you can use the smudge tool and get the result you have, better than what I could ever get with it >.>
