PERSONAL INFO :

Personality: Azalea is a strong clever woman who is truly devoted to protect her country. She may not be one of the strongest physically, but mentally she might just be. With all that happened in her life she learned to stand her grounds and not let herself be led by the nose by anyone. Azalea tries to be calm and not show any weakness as she wants to make peoples feels that they can rely on her. She loves to take care of the ones close to her and be a model to the younger people.

She takes pity and feels sorry for the weaker people or the people in need and will try to help them be it ally or enemies, which isn't very practical in war. When her walls break, Azalea is very emotional and will act more on instict, even putting her morality behind. Azalea is able to calm herself quite quickly, but damages that she's not proud of will still be done and weight heavy on her shoulders as she blames herself for failiure. Do be aware that behind the kind and calm woman is also a manipulative dancer. Manipulating other is something she used to do more when there's wasn't anyone she was really close to, but if she needs to, she will use her skills.

History: Azalea was born into a little known town in the land of Nohr. She lived happily with her mother, a dancer, and her father, a simple villager. Her mother had to retire from the army due to her fragile health, but devoted her now peaceful days to raise her daughter and teach her the ways of a dancer. Azalea was eager to learn, not only to follow the family's tradition, but also because she was full of respect for her mother's talent and wished to be able to support the army just like her mother did. At 8 years old, unnfortunately for Azalea, her mother's condition worsen and is now weaker and sicker than ever. Not only must Azalea stop her dancer training, but the little family falls into dept due to the high price of the medication her mother needs. Azalea's father, who is acting more and more strange and shady, decides to sell his daughter to a noble house for an extravagant price. The family in question had heard of the wonder of a dancer and were highly interested in the young dancer's talent, knowing that it would be an advantage against any ennemy.

The next years were the hardest and the darkest for Azalea. The Lord in charge of the manor where she was now living had assigned her a teacher who made her practice for endless periods of time and would punish her for a simple mistake. At first, Azalea stood her ground and tried her best to not become a broken puppet who would act at their wills, but everyday just became harsher.

During those days, Azalea's only hope and ray of sunshine came from a small boy, slightly younger than her, who had also been sold to the house. He was to be trained as the lord's squire and was also treated like nothing with even worse treatment. Azalea swore to protect him the best she could.... but unfortunatelly, 8 hellish years later, he went away with the lord on a 'trip' and never came back. She asked and begged for answers but she never got any, leaving her to think that her little friend could be... dead.

From then on, as she was in the middle of her teenage years, Azalea finally realized how the cruel the world was. No more good and happy and loving girl, just walls of guilt and urges to run away. Azalea, having learnt all that her teacher could teach her, was now an official dancer. She would entertain the Lord with her shows and support his soldiers and mercenary. Azalea listened and did whatever she was told to, but this was all part of her established plan to finally get away.

Azalea passed months and years earning the trust of the manor's resident: Servant, soldiers, nobles, even the Lord at some point... she learned to manipulate them all almost at her will. She was able to even gets any jewelries and gold as rewards for any good work she executed, be it a simple show or some kind of mission she participated in. For some people, this almost looked like a perfect life, but if Azalea had to be frank... it just felt wrong and dirty.

When Azalea hit her 20, that's when she decided to strike sweet vengeance. The Lord had brought her with him as he was going to have an audience with some higher ups. He hoped he could gets more funds out of them for his own little army when he obviously didn't need any as his manor was actually filled with stealed golds and jewelries. Azalea was a sort of... bribery since the Lord asked her to help him by charming the important persons present at the audience. Little did he know that she would use this opportunity to betray him.

During the audience, Azalea spilled the bean, as you may say. She exposed the Lord's crime and illegal action to the higher up: things he had stolen, town he had ravaged without a reason, fake report of Hoshidians or bandits invading when it was all his own doing, she didn't spare anyhting. The Lord was speechless and before he could try to argue back he was arrested and to be executed.

After that event, Azalea was thanked from high noble family for helping Nohr and was even to be granted any favor. Since she felt lighter with all this done, Azalea found back part of her younger self and decided to follow back her dreams: She wanted to join the army and support the one who where truly devoted to the country

As of now
Azalea's 5 years into the military granted her a new environement that helped her be herself again. She now truly trusted people, didn't manipulate everyone as she pleased since she respected and loved them. She still hold walls but mostly to appear perfect to the eyes of the younger and lead them at the side of her general.

:Trivia:
- One of her favorite spot in the manor was the library because it was full of knowledge and an easy place to hide
- During her stay at the manor, she often thought about "what if she was stronger" and chose to me a knight or something just STRONGER that could maybe have saved her from that situation
- Since she was sent away while she was small, Azalea as no idea where the her natal town is and thus, has no idea where are her parents
- Even if she's a dancer, she's quite strong since she wish to be able to protect and save people even if she's alone on the battlefield (Support is still her main focus of course UvU )
