Astrid is one of the few characters who has been in the fic since the original draft, and she plays a pivotal role in that version’s only subplot, which is still in the fic to this day.
Astrid is my second favorite character in the fic, and every scene with her comes so naturally she practically writes herself. She has by far the most issues of any character in the fic, and she deals with these issues by using them to fuel her aggression and intimidation. She has a lot of power and influence on Team Rocket, but this also invokes a huge amount of pressure…and Jade just became her favorite target for taking out all her various frustrations.
Astrid greatly values loyalty and despises traitors and double agents. Unlike many executives, she prefers dealing with threats herself over sending her subordinates to take care of them.
