Meetings-

The door opens, and the dimly lit restaurant is filled with the hiss of a late autumn rain. Just above table-level, you can see a flash of red hair bob through the doorway. After a few steps it pauses, and bounces back.

“Come on, you can’t stay out there, you’ll get soaked! Hurry up and come inside.” exclaims a young-sounding voice. You can only assume it belongs to the owner of the carrot-colored mop-top.

“B-but Chibi, what if they don’t like me? I don’t think this is such a good idea.” You can tell easily that the speaker is a female, and despite the wavering uncertainty in her voice, you can easily hear her over the dull roar of the tavern.

Reaching out into the rain, Chibi brings into view the second speaker. Looking at the pair of them, it’s obvious that either the man is much shorter than he looks, or that she’s much taller. Perhaps both. Quickly and gracefully, she ducks through the doorway and stands up, her damp, black tresses grazing the rafters of the ten foot ceiling. She is dressed in a long skirt and a comfortable-looking sweatshirt, with long black hair that stops just below her waist. Her teal-blue eyes quickly scan the room before she returns her attention to Chibi.

“Um, why did we come here again? To answer questions?” she asks.

“Well, I wanted to host a get-together. People see you in drawings all the time, but nobody has really gotten to properly meet the real ‘Takai’ yet,” Chibi responds with a smile. “Although, I’m sure there are a lot of questions to ask. We’re kind of an odd couple.”

Takai grins down at him, “That we are. Come on, why don’t you find us a seat?”

Once again, Takai is pulled along like a cruise ship following a tug boat, until they stop at a large round table. In a somewhat humorous act, Chibi crosses in front of Takai and struggles to draw back her chair.

“A gentleman at any size,” Takai giggles, and seats herself.
