No, no one's getting married, this is just my final Wilton 3 cake!! Well, this is it. The only other Wilton classes I can take will be for like gum paste flowers, and other such stuff. This took a lot of work. I can finally understand why people ask rediculous amounts of money for them. It took me well over 24 work hours to make this cake.The flowers (about 40) and leaves are made from fondant. The cake is coated in it, with a thin layer of buttercream underneath. The little white flat flowers are also fondant, with a tip 18 star in their centers. The cake is finished with a tip 18 shell border. The top cake is a 2 layer 6" milk chocolate cake, and the bottom is a 1 layer butter recipe yellow

Ok, I REALLY thought in the thumbnail that the roses were real. I was thinking to myself "wow, that's really good, but if the roses are real then that's not as complicated as i think it is, maybe i can make one". I opened the large view and wow.. i'm blown away. No way, not in a million years could i fathom creating all those roses by hand. My hat's off to you and you definitely have my respect. Yea, considering how much went into this, I definitely understand the high prices.

Such a pretty cake, you have done a really nice job! Here in New Zealand it's traditional to have a fruit cake for a wedding cake, bah! I don't want that! You cake sounds a lot yummier!
