I just started a class where I have to do at least 10 sketches a week. The sketches can be of anything, so I've just been scrawling what comes to mind.I did this scribble the other night, and I kinda liked it, so I decided to throw some color at it.
Lately I've been tinkering with the idea of a HollowEarth kind of setting, so I've been trying to figure out what the good guys look like. This is a trog barbarian and grippli ranger, chillin' out in all their cold-blooded majesty, ready to skewer some illithids.
That silly grippli-frog makes me laugh, He's friggin' armed to the teeth.

really cool man, i've been thinking about a 'new world' setting where elves and dwarves try to colonize a continent of lizard and frogmen who are still in the stone age but have lots of druids and dinosaur mounts, this pic is perfect for that kinda thang!

Hollow earth is a made up setting. There are many various iterations of Hollow Earth, as well as mythical places crazy conspiracy therorists believe in. The Hollow earth stuff I draw is my own version of how I would imagine a world in the center of the Earth based on legends, D&D monsters and just things I like. Its a little sandbox world I like to tinker with.

There are a few different versions of hollowearth. There is the one that conspiracy theorists believe in, I think there was a hollowearth DnD setting, and there are various crummy movies about the center of the earth. Its just a common fantasy setting, and I thought it would be fun to create my own incarnation of it.
