That's excactly why I thought it would be fun! Β I actually did a sketch of him with a moustache a very long time ago. Β But I hadn't got to do any more than that. Β

The lumberjack beard it a laugh. Β That is a fine handlebar mustache. Β And the chops aren't that bad looking.
You know, I was wondering if any of recordings that survived showed any of the men shaving. Β Because if they don't, Rover would have a (quite possibly funny) learning experience with figuring out he needed to shave or how to shave.

There are actually quite a few scenes in westerns showing the guys shaving. Although they usually use those big blade razers. I'm sure it cost Rover a lot of time and blood to learn to shave without anyone teaching him....especially with that method!

Rovers facial hair is naturally a different color and texture than his hair. Surprisingly its actually not that unusual.
However I imagine he has something that can make it grow quickly so he can continue to play with it.

The young brothers in our hall are all around the just getting facial hair age. It seems each time I see them its different.
