Print Available Here! chiou.storenvy.com/collections…This idea has been with me since a year ago! I had it in a thumbnail sketch for a long time, but I never had the time to
sit down to execute it until recently. Pretty happy with how it turned out! Haku's whiskers though.. feels a tad too busy with them.
Coloring was tough! in terms of how to light it, so it definitely had a theatrical/classical approach. Definitely thought a lot about Carravagio's work- how he cheated where light and shadows fell to emphasize certain areas of interest.

Wow this is amazing! From your comment I can see how much you put into this. Great choice going with the lighting, it really does put focus on these two nicely! I love how you drew Haku with his sharp dragon features, fluffy mane and silvery scales. Chihiro looks sweet in your style and that was clever of you to have Bo riding in her little pink shoe.

One word : yes! Excellent lightning and colour contrast. This movie is the best. Sorry if you didn't know this but studio Gibli is no more now.
