The lettuce thing sounds familiar. Either you told me that before or I know of another dog with similar taste.

I still miss my Sadie Pooh SO DAMN MUCH every day...can't wait till I can have a dog again!

This was actually a pretty important birthday for us .... a few months ago we got some bad news about his health.... I wasn’t sure he would make it to 10 ..... so, I am very happy that he was with us today. For now I will just try and focus on that .... and hope he continues to defy the odds. 
... I don’t think there is any way I can really prepare for losing him, so I am just trying not to take this time for granted. 
Sorry to hear about Sadie..... and I hope you are able to get that new dog soon.
