no.3 in my aura beast series. yay (i'm on a roll - thnx to the long weekend i guess - otherwise it might have taken forever before i updated )- i managed to draw decent clouds ^_^ with help from the first reference - although it doesnt look exactly the same since chinese paintings are completely different to my style i guess. Tried to make it more wind like

this time its a ki lin - sob - so small - i cant exactly fill a pic with one unlike the other two beast...and i got slack with the guy's pose ^^' - sorry

DEFN: A mythical being of Chinese mythology, comparable with the western unicorn. Ki-lin personifies all that is good, pure, and peaceful. It lives in paradise and only visits the world at the birth of a wise philosopher. The unicorn, which can become one thousand year old, is portrayed as a deer with one horn, the tail of an ox, the hooves of a horse, and a body covered with the scales of a fish. It is one of the four Ling.

there are other definitions and descriptions of a ki lin but i'll stick to this one. They're also said to have strong magical powers - so i guess even if its a peaceful type - it would still be good for defence....although apparently they wont ever kill any other living thing - not even an ant. - so i guess its just gonna dance on clouds for now.

AURA BEASTS: a manifestation of a person's inner soul. Can be called out for defensive purposes. Takes the form of one's strongest past life form.
