Love the look of dark disturdance in the eyes. And your victums obvious pained weak and tired weary worm look is almost perfect.

holy crap! i have never seen anything so beautiful and terrible at the same time! this is absolutely out of this world, and original too, i love the concept and the lighting i love both faces. It's hard to put into words what i really think and just how amazing it truly is, but that's real art at its best

well its paid off in my point of view, hopefully when im done school and become a photographer my work will hit as hard as your did. Not very many people give photography the credit it deserves, thinking that its just taking a picture, but its so much more, we have to think about what we want to convey through our pictures, get the lighting right, the faces, the tone...everything, and its really hard. If anything I believe that a photographers work is harder, anyone who can draw can do it through imagination, and i think that that is freaking awesome, but finding beauty in the world to capture or create (using whatever you can) and getting to come out through a camera (if your lucky to catch it at all) is a gift. Just my opinion lol

Well, as one who does both, I can say that it's hard to compare the two art forms - further than the fact that both practices composition, and when photographing, I look closer at certain objects and lights, getting a further understanding in how it looks, which I can use when I draw.
Of course, in this picture I'm one of the models, but I'm very happy with it since we were there to shoot one of the photographers ideas, but when I saw the equipment they had there, I asked if we could try one of mine as well. So I was allowed to set the lights and discuss my idea with both the photographer and the other model, and I'm so happy they obviously understood what feeling I wanted to convey, which the other model also should have cred for, it's hard enough to convey the feeling of an idea you had yourself, even harder when you're just getting a description of it
I suppose I'd like to say that I agree when you say people don't understand the hard work it takes, and exactly how much every person participating puts into it. Photography is not just pointing and clicking, and modeling is not just standing there, it both takes effort and a great deal of collaboration between all people involved. (Of course, you can have lucky shots, but mostly the pictures just end up boring and unmotivating if either part doesn't know what they're doing.)
Sorry for the long ranting answer by the way
