Still redesigning old characters, I redrew Arthelle recently but I really didn’t like his face, was too pretty/bishi and it didn’t suit the character :’D
He’s meant to be a warrior, so his old pretty, skinny look was just eugh. I hated most things about this universe honestly XD It’s getting completely scrapped and I’m salvaging what I can to make it not stupid.

I love how you're making your characters so diverse in body and features!
I especially like Arthelle's horns - they remind me of pincers from some big bug like a stag beetle

Hee thank you :'D I've been trying to exaggerate their features a bit, just to make them more fun to draw for myself I think XD
I may have drawn some inspiration from seeing all your silhouettes for your monster designs among other things :'D I'm embarrassed to say that but it helped me think about this stuff a lot, even if I don't draw monsters XD
And yea they make me think of stag beetles too XD I dunno why I like this

I now like his look XD His old ones never really appeased me :'D maybe it's the horns...
But yes I wont be scrapping Arthelle :'D He's more central than a lot of other crap I smooshed into this universe ahaha XD I'm mostly just focusing on him and Anna, also Kaan who is like an alternate story within the overarching plot XD
I don't even know who the main character is anymore, that's how messy it turned out :'D

It sucks when you just can't seem to get a character how you want.
One feature can really make or break a character design XD At least that's how I see it!
ahaha! Having so many babies can get rather confusing because you want to write about all of them!
But there is always the beauty of making multiple stories and AU's like the ones you have doodled before!
Keep up with your great characters! I always love seeing them!!
