Description
Still obsessed with drawing an ME-262 variant. This time I made inlets along the length of the fuselage as per my original profile drawing of two years ago.
Drawing wings at an angle is hard enough without them being swept. I swept them a little more, to around 40 degrees because they looked cooler. I don't know if I got it right, but I used my best educated guess.
Still not entirely happy with the nose, but happy enough. I put bigger guns on, 31.75 mm (1.25 in.) So I made some bulges to accommodate the guns.
I usually just do a cheesy shade on the canopy, but today I felt brave and actually put in the instrument panel, chair, and pilot.
The main thing: this was FUN, and easy to get into.
.05 mm mechanical pencil, 557 HB soft for deep shadows, blending pencil and eraser pencil. About 3 hours, on and off.
