I absolutely love your art. It is so graceful and full of energy. I checked out all 24 pages, looking at every single piece you had, and it brought back so many memories of comics I grew up with. Take this one, Thor transforms, who remembers Donald Blake and his walking stick. They bring up his name in the first Thor movie, but today, who knows of his origin anymore. I work in wood, you can check out my site if you want. But I have seen a couple of pieces you have done that would look great in my media...not for sale, display only. It is hard to believe you do so many of them in marker and white ink...beautiful. Thank you for sharing your art.

Good to see somebody that still know to draw "normal" muscle and people. The muscular Thor feels even more powerfull.

some characters should always be represented in a certain way, and you've done that here with thor....

Ah, I don't know....but it's never what I get LOL.I don't really see my work in my head, so it's not a case of not being able to create what's in my mind, but I sometimes think.."this will be a cool one if I don't screw it up"

Very niece piece! I like the idea of the image, and the execution is great. Thor's armor is excellent, and those lighting effects are wicked. The overall lighting is top-notch to be sure!

Great lighting (and lightning) effects! Nice, though like you, I see that it could be better. Ever think of maybe ghosting out Blake in the foreground a bit?

Ghosting is a b!tch to pull off...It'd be a nice effect for a shot like this, but since he was paying for a two character commission, having Blake phasing out might've seemed like a rip off to him hehe. Like one and a half characters or something.

So, in the end, not worth the trouble and it might cause more trouble, I see.

Yeah...laziness is a powerful thing hehe. Plus, I just avoid effects I know are tricky as I don't want to screw it up and have to redo it.

I wouldn't call it laziness, I suffer the same malady, but I see what you mean.

this is dope. looks a lil too kirby influenced though in terms of the comp. still great shit. could use a dust of white spray paint/airbrush though. somethin to simulate a lil atmospheric clouds

yeah, u expect him to, i dunno, beam his responses not to the camera, but into ur actual head! just re-read the supreme issues with him in the end. rick veitch n alan moore are the shit

Thanks. I do sometimes spent a lot of time figuring out the layouts. I almost always go for simple, but I'm a believer in less is more.
