Description
Kiya's parents and grandparents. In the front, her mother Mejerset, a White-rumped Pygmy falcon/Sand cat gryphon. She is respected jeweler of the Samhradh clan, but rather haughty, old-fashioned, and insistent on tradition. She disdains the humans of Windsonde, thinking them far beneath gryphons in intelligence, and cannot understand Kiya's fascination with human craft techniques or her desire to gain a human form to become better at them. To the left is Kiya's father Akeru, an African Harrier-hawk/slightly leucistic king cheetah gryphon. He is Faclair, but tolerant and open-minded of his daughter's interests. In the back is her paternal grandmother Mau, a Great Sparrowhawk/melanistic leopard member of the Dearmaad clan. Granma Mau doted on her grandgryphlet, and Kiya adores her. To the right of Mau is Akeru's father Asuar, another African Harrier-hawk/king cheetah gryphon. In the middle is Kiya's grandmother on her mother's side, a White-rumped Pygmy falcon/Golden cat gryphon named Serau, and on the farthest right is her maternal grandfather Tanen, a Pearl Kite/Sand cat. Mejerset (pronounced "meh-yer-set") inherits her attitude from Serau and Tanen, who are from a long line of Faclair gryphons and proud of it.

tl;dr, I just drew this to design more gryphons. I love Pearl Kites and Great Sparrowhawks.
