For as promised. New lens, woohoo~

I did a bunch of test shots with Sion and Gabby separately, but I've not gotten used to the 50mm lens yet. I like this shot for the composition and the way he's looking thoughtful (more in character, I think). More playing around with the lens soon, I hope. But I'm going for Uni orientation camp first (4 days, sigh). Well, anyway, the new lens made me realise how heavy my kit lens was. Haha. This is much lighter and easier to bring around, both in terms of weight and size.

50mm, what f/?

I have a 50mm f/1.8 and it is so much love /o/ So tiny and light. But to compensate my macro lens is twice heavier than Lilica (my canon t2i) xD

Yes, I like that it's so small and light. I'm kind of happy that it's much easier to bring my camera around if I choose to now. Haha. Wow, your macro lens is heavy. By the way, is "Lilica" what you named your camera? XD

My macro lens is as heavy as my 18-135mm zoom lens. But canon t2i is in fact a light camera =3 And yes, Lilica is the name I gave to my camera xD

NIKKOR 50mm f1.8G. And yup, you're right, it's for portrait shots. I went to do some research on lens after I saw your new lens that time, and found that a lot of doll owners use 50mm lens. I really like the bokeh effect it gives But I've not really taken good photos with it so far, haha. More cos my hands are shaky now (just came back from camp, so muscle ache, lol) and cos I keep taking photos in my room where nothing gives nice bokeh. And lol, I'm nuts about cameras too XD
