I would think $500 would be enough for his sculpt plus stuff for him! The doll on its own (with a faceup) only cost about $340 from here www.ebay.com/itm/Magic-Time-Ne… and the seller includes eyes and a wig so he'd be a nice starter doll (: this ebay seller is the actual creator of the brand so you don't have to worry~

Awesome, thank you! ;o; I have so much to practice when it comes to bokeh xD just curious, what kind of camera do you have? I bought the Canon Rebel T3 in October, but I've barely used it at all (mainly just harassed my friends and my dog with it ;u; ) -cough- that 32GB of free space is just sitting there.. ;___;

I have a Sony a390, currently using a...fancy lens that I know nothing about because my bf bought me it xD it's for portraits I think (he said it would be good for the doll photos and lol I've never gone back to my other lens) but if I put the macro setting on, it creates HELLA bokeh magic. Canon's are GREAT though, I actually wanted a Canon originally but... again, bf is a camera buff and insisted I got a Sony xDD I'm sure you'll get use of it when you eventually get a doll ^__^ although your dog will probably crave the stardom it once had... xD

don't worry, i'll continue to be my dog's paparazzi also. xD I'm glad he's help you with your doll photography though, it looks perfect!~ i've been just doing tons of studying up on photography on the past 4 years about (most of the books i own are on photography and thats saying a lot because i don't own that many books xD ) and the macro setting is like the bomb diggity ;o; im just gonna use my default lens for now cause all the others are so expensive xD
