Description A key to living a happier life is to concentrate on happy thoughts.

I am open for commissions, single character drawings similar to this one run about $20, simple ink wash sketches run $10. Note me for more prices and information if interested. Almost every original piece of artwork I make is for sale, this one included.

Happy thoughts mainly gives self encouragement. My life hasn't been happier despite change of thoughts. All my luck seems to come from fate rather than law of attraction. Or maybe I've been too realistic and holding myself back.
Is this scratch pad or marker on paintboard?

It's watercolor paper dyed black with India ink, the drawing is in white gel pen. I think it gave it a nice textured 'scratchboard' feel. Real scratchboard is pretty expensive in the art stores I've been to.

India ink and gel pen sounds expensive too. I was an art store recently and everything was expensive. Thankfully everything I came for was either buy one get one free or on sale.

White gel pens and india ink last more than one use though, and I can buy a jar of ink and a pen for nearly the same price as one or two scratch boards. I have considered making my own scratchboards too, that's usually cheaper than buying them.
