fwahh! I'm not that angsty, I promise >.< I'm in love with this song by Muse and I could totally relate to it yesterday when my mom was going all -crazy- on me o_O;
I drew this to symbolize how I've changed for the better over this past year. I no longer allow my depression to control me - I stopped overdosing, all kinds of self-mutilation, and trying to commit suicide- I treat myself much better now and don't take crap from anyone ^_^ Ah'm a happy kitty-squirrel now -^_____^- ..and I won't allow anyone to take away what I've fought so hard to gain.

haha, a chemical imabalance is hardly a pathetic reason but yes, depression isn't all that fun (nor is it easy to deal with let alone overcoming it) but I do promise that I will remain as strong as I can and that I won't let myself get weak enough to take my life ^_^ thank you for the encouragement *hug*

Don't mind me, I get like that sometimes. I can totally relate to the reborn part, though. I finished over a year of therapy back in May, and it helped me bury my past and bring new light to my future...kinda like a rebirth of sorts.
I had actually never thought of it like that before. Funny how I became fascinated with the Phoenix legend over 15 years ago...wow..

It's kinda neat how sometimes characters you make begin taking on personalities you had never intended.
I play City of Heroes, and I recreate many character of mine in that game (if you've never played it, the character creation system is incredible! They keep adding to it, too!). After I finally decide on a costume, I begin to play as the character...and they start to..change.
I'm also a role-playing type, so I begin to grow into that character, and soon, their personalities have a new life you never even intended.
I really need to learn how to draw, heh.
