Noob questions since i am new to pc gaming, but :
1)Did you to this via garrys mod?
2)how are you able to get these models?Β
3) I am going to assume that you added the scarf to tails yourself.how are you able to add that in? I m asking because i would like to put Sonic and the rest of the cast in clothes.Β

I did this with Source Filmmaker, or SFM as it's more commonly known. I got these models off of the Steam workshop for Source Filmmaker. And, yes, I added the scarf (which is a separate model).
The only problem with SFM is that the amount of models they give you when you start off is very limited. I recommend getting Garry's Mod just to download models and transfer them over to SFM (because Garry's Mod's workshop has a heck of a lot more models to download than SFM's workshop). There are YouTube videos that teach how to do this (I personally have no idea how to do it because I don't have Garry's Mod).

Hey Cipher, I got the models but I am having trouble trying to open them with blender. I still want to edit those models aside from adding scarfs. Unless you know a way to convert the files (.mdl to blend files)

They came from Sonic Generations. Some of them come from earlier games, like Sonic Unleashed, but most of them come from Generations. To my knowledge, they are compatible with Blender, but I think you have to download some sort of plug-in Β or something for Blender the models to work with Blender. I think this is because the models are technically "made" for the Source Engine, so you might have to get a plug-in for Blender.
