ladies and gents this picture was taken by Canon 20D !!
(with Canon 75-300mm IS U lens) where? Somewhere in Austrian mountains over Bad Kleinkircheim. I had a lot of fun there.... I was snowboarding and it was awesome! I almost had no time to take photos...
as regards this picture i think that title speaks for it... i just find that house and nature there as a dream land. it would be great to live there for some weeks or months just in order to disconnect from this crazy world and way of life we have....

Wonderful light and shadow play here. Makes me dream and a bit homesick. I grew up in Western Austria and lived in the mountains in this valley [link] from age 16 to 19.

I wasnt going to comment on this pic, but since critique is welcome,
I have to say the composition is troubling to me, I cant just look at the house and enjoy the pic, my eyes keep going down the right-bottom corner and that part seems disconected from the pic. There is something evil in those trees that diverge the attention from the house.

Interesting effect on getting the foreground hills and backround hills grey while the middle is sunlit. Freakish clouds?

Seems rather frightful to be on a mountain so steep, but despite the fear it drives me to strive for a home like that.
Seems weather is cold, but that's something nice for the photo, it's emotive with the snow in it.
