I've always wondered if Bulbasaurs change color with the seasons. I imagine if they did, it would look something like this. Last year, I started to toy with this idea. This year I decided to go ahead and finish it, by putting them all on one page. This pokemon fan art was completed using pen, and watercolor pencil.Related content

Thank you, I'm glad you like them! I love thinking of how things "work" in fictional universes, I day dream about things like that a lot. As for the blending, I finally broke down and bought some more shades of watercolor pencils, and watercolors in general. The slightly different color shades make a HUGE difference!

Totally! Where you thinking about any other seasonal plant types? It might be something to think about, or sense your into original characters now, you could invent a species. Dont have to, Im just giving some ideas.

IKR! Hes got a whole garden on his back! Theres so much to work with! If you want to do him up with the seasons, then maybe I will make him into a rock-garden/water-garden, with the little pathways and statues and stuff.
