Description An aerial view of three Cambridge colleges. The grey steeples in the foreground belong to the college simply known as Caius (pronounced 'keys'). Then we canΒ see into the Great Court of Trinity College, with its historic clock. Rising further back is the chapel of St John's.

Quite an impressive temple of knowledge, especially as these are 3 colleges out of 31 (that figure is a bit scary)... Middle Ages or Renaissance? Great anyway.

Indeed, the amount of knowledge accumulated here over the years beggars belief.

Caius College dates from 1348, Trinity from 1546, while St John's received its charter in 1511. Its chapel is a recent addition to the college - built as recently as 1869.

Many thanks for your comments, always appreciated.
