Vincent Valentine from Final fantasy VIIthis is my favotite character from Final Fantasy...
for contest
I tried to draw him exactly like in the "movie: second 51: [link]
this drawing took me like 3 days....
this is my little present for my beloved DA-friends that have supported me trough this year

and that face took me 3 days to make....I wanted it to be like in the "movie"....putting in some green, yellow, blue, and a little pink at his eyes....unfortunately the scanner has taken all the colors...
and the background is really awful...I simply can't make a dark background whit stars...

dark bgs are hard to do for some reason (experiane needed maybe^^)
I'm sorry to say it didn't look like stars to me, more like some diamond cave, but I thought it was awesome even if I got it wrong (sorry)
That movie looks so great, I wanna model, render and animate that well too (experience needed for sure!)

it's really complicated...if you haven't played a Final Fantasy game (I haven't played any FF-game, just know about this "anime" from Deviantart and college)

I tried one of the old FF games once, but it was not really my style - mostly cuz we couldn't make it work right (or they just told me wrong how it works) the funniest for me was renaming characters - I always like to rename things and I chose the ugliest or most unsuitable names I can think of and whenever someone talks to the char, I laugh^^
I've seen the 3d movie so at least I recognized him a little^^

uh! I just saw one of my class-mates play that game on a somehow portable PC in he English classes
