 Rackagiri

These small creatures are completely covered in hair-like feathers. Uakumi's dig small burrows in which they sleep and care for their young, such a hole is called a dinkin. They use their gigantic tailfeathers to scare of predators, these feathers are often used in hats and clothes by the Umi's. The crest on top of their heads serves as a communication devise, they can make a very loud, trumpet-like sound by pushing air through channels in their crests. They use these sounds to call to their young and search for a mate. Their meat tastes very salty and is used in various dishes.
