first character of 2014 I guess!
The pink cactus gal from last night- Her name is Florisel or Flor for short. She is a Moon Cactus, which are tiny, chubby cacti. Florisel is pink for a reason- Moon Cacti lack chlorophyll and instead show their secondary pigments. Flor is quite literally an albino cactus, and so she gives off a pink color with near white thorns. The only chlorophyll she has is in the leaves of her flower.
As such, she can’t stay in the sun for long periods of time. She’ll often wear long dresses and have a parasol at hand. She owns a general store shop, and because of her delicate nature, has learned to do all sorts of crafts and trades like chocolate, botany, soap making, baking, etc. Often she’ll travel, in which case, she always has an escort or two for help.
When she is really happy, excited or embarrassed and blushing, her flowers bloom and she releasees a feel good perfume
