it's true. even streetshooting i bet you get noticed by a higher percentage of kids than adult. they just see the word different and it's great. i think somebody once said that a good streetphotographer is somebody who can see the world thru the eyes of a child.. anybody know this quote?anyway, more of that expired kodak colour roll.. like the colour but honestly think the b/w is a bit stronger, and it helped get the exposure on the girl's face more where i wanted it as she was a bit down in the original print. channel mix can so amazing things! i just wish i had CS for the shadow/highlights tool.

I know exactly what you mean - if there's a mixed scene on the street, its the kids that'll be looking at me as their parents rush along.

in a photo class we once had a project where we were supposed to take pictures as if seeing the world through the eyes of a child. it was tough, but i enjoyed it and keep looking at things differently since then.
