I really like the direction you are going with this watercolor and ink series. The line drawing is really nice... and the beautiful colors and textures really strengthen the work by creating a motion and mood. Keep up the good work.

Yes, painting in acrylic or oil is often stressful... but watercolor is never stressful. It is so fun. You just add water, and it blends itself beautifully like a magic.

Wow...Really really amazing. I love the pose and the serenity of the whole picture. The colors of the water behind her are really lovely as well--they give the entire picture a sort of ethereal feeling and I love how subtle they are. The gold fish scales are also a nice touch. I love all the tiny details on the picture--they really make the whole picture pop.

haha, thanks...I don't really know much about watercolor though. This was made with lots of different layers of blues and greens, then I used black, white, and gold ink. And lots of water to make everything run. :-D Good luck with your classes!
