Description
This was my costume for the 2008 steampunk convention. I won first prize! woo!Anyway, huge laundry list of materials, all made by me, except the wings are re-purposed batman wings that actually move in and out. Super cool!
This character is my own design!
Also, the photograph was taken by Mark Berry Photography. He did a great job!

I remember a while back looking at a book about the Steampunk "subculture", and a costume from the book stuck in my mind. I can't remember exactly how the photo looked (I probably wouldn't be asking if I could), but I distinctly remember the note about it mentioned moving wings...
... was this photo or another from the set featured in a book, or is this just an odd coincidence?
