All I can say is that I'm really proud in replicating that star.. and the background.. >_>Another drawing of of my OC Rigel, aka Rye for short.
Rye was born from the star Rigel, a Blue-white star from the constellation of Orion. Staraliens are known for being spiritually immortal beings and are often referred as the Phoenixes of the Universe. If a Staralien were to die, they will be reborn, although this process may take a few years' even decades. They can only be killed if the star they were born from dies out or is destroyed.
Starting age may differ after reincarnation, as young as 5 to 18 years of age depending on how long it takes for them to be reborn. They are also prone to memory loss but will eventually regain their memory in time after fully awakening.
Also, I didn't think it was necessary to put a filter on this considering that I really didn't show anything. That being said, I'm apologize in advance if this image bothers anyone.

Oh mann, THANKS tho!! I'm trying my best here to bring a visual to the ideas I have in my head about these guys and the whole Rebirth thing was something I needed to share because it has been replaying in my head for some time.
But yes, there is a time in Rye's past where he dies and is reborn again as a child. During that time he was already friends with Celest, and she waited like 10 years for his rebirth to welcome him back. Also, there is a way to regain memory faster but it needs to be prepared beforehand, like right before they die kinda thing, like a will that is sealed and kept within another person who he has close relationships with.
And yes damn does this story has a lot of angst. I feel like I should tone it down a bit tho. lol...

I felt like high contrast would be the way to go here with this particular setting and considering there's a HUGE FREAKING STAR behind him. HAha I wish it was a professional comic..lol
