Description
Occupy movement is an international protest movement which is primarily directed against economic and social inequality.It refers to the vast concentration of wealth among the top 1% of income earners compared to the other 99%, and indicates that most people are paying the price for the mistakes of a tiny minority.
Basically it was started because of the crazy gap between the rich and the poor.
"We are the 99%" is a political slogan and an implicit economic claim of "Occupy" protesters. It refers to the increased concentration of wealth since the 1970s among the top 1% of income earners in the United States.
The Occupy Movement is demonstrating for higher tax and whose income is high enough to pay federal income taxes.

Millionaires need to pay more taxes. Now. The billionaire, Warren Buffet is lobbying for it! I don't care how the filthy rich person got that way! You have a LOT more money than me, you should pay a lot more taxes than I do! The Republicans are making a serious mistake for not even meeting the Democrats half way on this. Why are they so immovable? Why can't they ever back down a little? Comromise is what all of our representatives are supposed to be doing already! The words and actions of the Republicans on this matter, of taxing the very wealthy more in order to reduce the defense dept. defficit, has made me support President Obama more than ever. I thought his speech yesterday was just right.

It's admirable of what they're doing. However they're doing it wrong. It would be better and get more attention if they occupied the Senate and House of Representives..because Congress is the one who makes the laws and makes us suffer.

I've noticed that too. At first I thought it was just a weird fluke, but every stamp/comment I've seen against the movement is made by a Zim fangirl.

Honestly, I didn't want to believe it as such, but I get the feeling that they're only opposing the movement because the fandoms they're in are just sucking them in so much that they'll just swallow anything they hear. In other words, they care only about their own stuff relating to Animu, Invader Zim, Sonic, Homestuck, Furries, blah blah blah.

It's more so protesting against those who get a tax break whereas the middle class and poor class get taxed more at an ungodly rate.
Meaning the wealthy get taxed at 15%. The poor and middle class get taxed at 60%. Regardless if the rich class worked hard or not doesn't matter. The poor and middle class work just as hard if not harder and get lower wages.
