I forgot to ask that eye on Edgar's neck what's it for?

He can watch Drake with it - like, actually see through Drake's eyes so he can see what he's up to, to keep tabs on him.
Admittedly Edgar does this more with Drake than any other of his other servants since Drake tends to get into trouble.

Drake has no idea.
In general Drake just attracts a lot of unwanted attention from other demons. For example, a lot of demons try to eat him, and is naive to the point that he sometimes gets himself into situations. Like, accidently kidnapping the son of a demon noble. Edgar wasn't too pleased about that one.

Well. He didn't mean to, is all.
See, Ismond, his lover, was the son of the a noble demon, but he lived a very sheltered life, trapped inside. When Drake came to his manor, he essentially pretended to be a butler and tried to leave with Drake. Drake took pity and agreed to do so, thus accidently "kidnapping" him from his family, or at least, all parties involved aside from Ismond and Drake would have viewed it as kidnapping.

Well, they don't particularly get along with each other. The fact that Edgar is a hude is a BIG secret and not something that he would ever want Drake to know. He's also mean, in contrast to Drake's niceness. Edgar's the type to be very annoyed if Drake does anything slightly wrong, or by the fact that he refuses to be a "proper" demon. XD
