New York, New York!:

Wow, I love this piece. I think I've spent around three hours on it, purely because I didn't know what to do. I started off with the background, and I was going to create a cartoon type thing, then I realised that would be hard due to the Yellow and Black combination.
So I looked through my brushes, and a brush set of New York City skylines which I used in my last piece caught my eye.
I was going to leave it pretty simple, but then I thought, well New York I suppose is similar to London is many ways. So I'm sure it has a lot of Graffiti.

So I added some extra bits, which included a brighter Crown, and a Willy to the Statue of Liberty. A nice little "Samie + ????" message, surrounded in hearts, falling stars, some little messages about the willy, and most importantly the lines of power.
The Statue of Liberty seems to reign over New York, so I gave her some lines of power, and some of the taller buildings have them, but they are nothing in comparison.

I enjoyed finding all the brushes and fonts for this, I like the little surprises you get with the brushes, all the things you don't see in the preview. Like the "Fuck You!", I only saw that as I accidentally clicked on the Brushes thing in Photoshop. There is something comical about it, probably because I am imagining an English person saying it with loads of passion... Anyways...
