Description One of the most overlooked aspects of making comics in ComiPo is lettering.  Lettering is one of those things where if it's done well, you don't notice it, but when it's done poorly, it can drag down the entire project.

Here are some things to think about next time you're lettering your pages.

Thanky you for the tips!
(This is just a head-up: I saw that you wrote in 'Go with the flow' section that Asian users are usually right-to-leftt. I just want to say, right-to-left is usually used by Japanese and Chinese. Koreans are left-to-right, at least

good tips, but one thing I'd point out: the only redeeming quality of comic sans is that it is a good font for dyslexics. Apparently they can read it easier than a lot of traditional fonts.

How do you add text in comipo?

Am I being trolled?  'Cos  I've seen your work and it looks like you know how to use the text tool.

Are you talking about fonts?

I apologize for the misunderstanding, I meant to ask about the forts. Before this it use to add it by it's own but now I can do it again after updating new version of comipo

No problem.  My apologies for being overly suspicious as well.

Yeah pretty much anything that updates requires ComiPo to be restarted - new fonts, new download folders, and anything added without going through the main interface. No idea why, just programming crap.

It's okay no worries, I accept your apologies. I remember that as well when comipo able to add next fonts by its own and now we can't do anything about it. Sigh... Thank you for reply the msg ComiPoser

Love this. I always love to use Anime Ace, because I suppose it can hide a few capitalization errors when you're doing your comic.

If you can make it work, go for it!  This is just a collection of tips, nothing set in stone.  Art is about what you make work and what works for you.

To be honest, I started using it back when I worked on the original Plot Twist, so I figured a goofy font suited it. Then I never looked back... lol

My suggestion, if you chose to use the Japanese manga ordering for your pages, is to include a starting arrow in the corner so the reader gets an immediate clue as to the direction to read from.

There are lots of sites that can offer you free fonts like Fontspace, Dafont and as mentioned companies that produce/sell fonts (Comiccraft, Blambot) offer completely free fonts for download.

Seriously though, if you're looking for a general font for everyday comic stuff, I recommend Wild Words.
