Back story: Thomas was born and raised in Norway, but is mostly of Danish descent. Like everyone in the USF he has undergone intense training in combat and survival. That combined with many years of hardship and a steady diet of barely digestible food have given him a high intelligence, an iron-hard will and a stomach that can dissolve iron if necessary.
He entered service when he was 16 years old where he joined the raider battalion who's job is to steal resources behind enemy lines. His lieutenants quickly saw that he had potential of becoming a powerful soldier and maybe even a member of the USF Council. He lost his right eye when he was 17 because of a small piece of shrapnel from a grenade that killed 3 of his fellow troopers. He has refused to receive a eye replacement because it reminds him of how easily a well thought plan can go south.

Operation October Storm: He was promoted to the rank of Colonel by the age of 26, but it came at the worst possible time because "The skull Empire" was invading and the USF had only 2 weeks to prepare. His commanding officer wanted to fight in a conventional manner by meting the enemy at the dried cost before they would set foot in Norway, or die trying.
Thomas on the other hand claimed that they where hopelessly outnumbered and it would merely be a massacre in a desperate attempt to stop them. Instead he argued that if they fortified the former capitol of Scandinavia then the buildings would make it impossible for the skull empire to remain mobile and the underground tunnels that had been dug below the city could make the USF capable of being everywhere at once. He also argued that instead of sending their "Siege Walkers" out to absorb damage from artillery fire, they should instead be hidden in the deeper parts of the city where they would be safe from artillery fire. And then when the enemy where gaining ground and the artillery became useless. The Siege walkers would have the ability to roam freely and be impossible to overthrow. His plan was risky, but the Council ruled that it had a higher chance to work than his generals plan. Because of this plan 4 weeks later "The Skull empire's" army had been reduced to a small amount of only 3.260
Out of sheer mercy and the fact that the winter was only a few days away, he allowed the skull empires army to retreat home. Despite this only 840 men from the skull empire survived because of the winter.

Later years: After operation October storm he was promoted to general and served in Europe where him and his men fought countless battles against the ULN and the Heinrich Empire. He has lost surprisingly few battles in most cases it was because his men din't do as he had commandeered.
When their European stronghold had been stabilized, he was sent to america where he now fights to protect their borders in north america.
When he tuned 40 he was offered a position in the council, but he turned it down. His words was "I was born to rule the battle field, not a nation"

Personality: He is mostly a quiet man who only speaks if he believes he has something important to say. He is a perfectionist, but he knows that perfection get in his way sometimes get in his way of carrying out a battle. He is calm, but also enforces discipline on his troops, one thing he strikes down on hard is overconfidence. He has been known to slap his men if they show signs of overconfidence.
