Description
Following the lineart submitted earlier, here is the Boy of Steel, Conner Kent aka Superboy. Unlike Superman, Conner is in fact a clone. The New 52 is keeping it quiet for now but in the past his composition was half Kryptonian DNA and half human DNA...from Lex Luthor. Like Superman he has all the Kryptonian powers (though some have been added and subtracted over time) and he allies himself with other heroes such as the Teen Titans. Sadly, because of his half blood mixture, he has struggled with varying emotional bouts and even turned against his friends.

I had a really fun time with this one trying to get a very realistic skin tone and expression and I'm very happy with the final result. The black to white gradiant is meant to be symbolic of the internal struggle he endures because of his origins.
