Description
My version of a Native American wedding gown.

Traditionally, the gown in the Northern California Tribes were white with the symbolic colors woven in: white for the east, blue for the south, yellow (orange) for the west; and black for the north.

Turquoise and silver jewelry are worn by both the bride and the groom in addition to a silver concho belt. Jewelry is considered a shield against evils including hunger, poverty and bad luck.

I wanted to keep the dress simple, but elegant and still retain it's traditional look. I however added a veil to the headband, a basket of flowers, a silver ring on the finger and drew the dress longer in length.

I also added more colors as well because in my opinion, all the colors of the rainbow is the symbol of unity with friends and family, the ones who're close to us pyshically and spiritually.
