Here is another work that has been in my "progress" folder for well over a month or two.

I was feeling a bit bummed one Saturday and I decided to paint a tree - no idea why - but I started on this tree and I really liked it, so I added a mushroom...and then before you know it I was planning out the whole work!

I've placed this in paintings even though the base of the figure was a 3D render I made in Poser 7, shes changed drastically and everything is painted over, and nearly everything else is hand painted, I also used some dynamic foliage brushes, anyway, I felt it was best suited to this category even though I do tend to put these works in Mixed Media, this one is just too much paint work.

I think I painted her wings 3-4 times over before I found a shape and style I was content with, same thing with her clothes, well lack there of I guess

So yes, here we have our sad little fairy, she is very very blue up close on the full size image you can see her big tears

Roughly 45 hours off and on for the last 2 months.
