Like a Genome girl who's had her soul taken back and become consumed by the darkness... apparently.Yes, this is my little baby Erin out again for the fun of it!I actually sketched this in the car on the way to Scotland and finished it when we got there! It's my first try at blending markers for awhile, and for once I'm pleased. Not sure about the pencil background, I'd wanted it darker but it just wasn't happening!
I liked it alot, before I added the background but I wanted it to be dark so it kinda works... Erin's wings are darker!
I like wings at the moment apparently! Deal with it >.>;I used Letraset markers (mixture of Pro and Tria) and crayola pencils!

I think there are some proportion issues, and the face lacks some of the detail and life of your other pics. But overall this pic is AMAZING.
The pose, first off. The pose is really dynamic and has a lot of energy to it. I like how you have her legs locked out in front of her, and how they kinda frame her energy blast. The folds on her boots give the light from the energy blast something to bounce off of, and the locked out pose conveys a sense of strength and fury that supports the main action of her blasting something.
The coloring overall is awesome...really sets the mood. The shadows on her body as you get farther away from the bright light of the energy ball look great, and I like how the background is colored because it allows the beautiful wings to stand out.
The wings look amazing, btw. You illustrated the feathery look of them very well, and I like how dramatic they look. The "glow" effect of them against the background makes them even more dramatic and interesting to look at.
Overall, this is an AWESOME pic.

Yeah, I found it difficult to add detail to such a small face, but it didn't bother me too much! ^^
I'm glad you commented about the pose because it just seemed to Natural to me with the situation in mind, but I was worried it wouldn't be noticed!
I enjoyed the lighting around the "energy ball" (don't really know what else to call it!) it game me something of a different light source to play with, which didn't turn out too bad!
