I picked these two on the FF:R Valentines day pairing thread... surprisingly!
The couples were selected by a random number generator so I was quite impressed to see these two pop up! But very pleased!
Anyways, here's .. something... I'm not sure if I'll do anything else with this one or even if it'll be the one I submit to the thread in the end

Very cute scene! The guy looks cute because he seems so warm and caring with the way he's wrapping his arms around her in the hug, kinda protectively, and his calm and caring and quiet expression. Miss Evlyn looks great, a little more flustered, with the brush, and with the slightly more rigid pose. The way she's hugging her arms over his hands is cute. It's like, she's a little nervous, or scared, but he's hugging her and transferring his calmness and comforting to her, and she's shyly accepting it. I dunno. XD
Very cute. Some of the lines get a little busy and confusing around their arms, but it's just because it's a sketch and some of the undersketch lines jumble it up, and since it's a sketch it takes a second to sort some of them out. If it were colored, that wouldn't be an issue.
Miss Evlyn's face looks a little odd to me. I think it's that her right cheek (our left) juts out from the chin a little too much. The softer look to her eyes, and the soft blush kinda make her face look different, which I seem to notice, but then, it's a very different emotion than most of the cheery pics you've drawn of her, and also different from the handful of sadder expressions you've drawn her with.
At any rate, it's a cute and lovely pic! : ) Very nice!

Yeah I liked this one too! ^__^ Made me feel all warm and fuzzy when I drew it!! Probably cause I used to love hugs like that!!! *sighs dreamily*
There is something off about her... I think I've pinned it down to her eyes... usually her eyes are a lot taller... in this one I seem to have squashed them a little and it just doesn't quite look like her... it fits the emotion of the picture more but we've lost a little of Evlyn I think...

Yeah, I agree. The eyes do a great job conveying the emotion, but lose a little bit of her personality.
But it's still all good. : )
