Description Artist's Notes:
Manippers, is this image manipulation quality? I'm trying to figure out where the line is for that, since I've never had any experience with manipulating myself. A proper thank you journal for the DD and responses to all the new comments will be coming soon! I did not forget or fail to notice! I just did not have the presence of mind to type something up tonight. Thank you all!

Please Note: My rules are still a work in progress, and therefore may change or be edited at any time as I work out all the kinks. Therefore, please refer to this other, wonderful stock artist's rules if necessary as they will more-or-less be about the same as mine once they're fleshed out in a similar journal: fav.me/d3ybj0d If you enjoy equine stock, I highly recommend =SalsolaStock , and encourage you to look through their gallery!

How did you get him to run on command? I'd love to know when I get some more horses. My boys are old and retired.

This is awesome for manipulations! Its a big image with nothing in the way of the horse, who is very beautiful. Any good manipulator can get rid of the headcollar very easily, and there are no blurs from movement.
Arian is so gorgeous. does he have blue eyes too?

I'm so glad you think so! Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions! As a new stock provider, feedback is crucial to me so I sincerely appreciate it! I have the tendency to be super-critical about my own work and "pixel-peep" a bit, so I kind of need reassurance from people that my stuff is, indeed, just fine. It's truly appreciated!

Yes. Arian does have two incredibly intelligent, incredibly beautiful blue eyes.

You're welcome :3 The basics to any good stock photo is pretty large size, no/little blurs and the sharper the better Otherwise, you never know what people are looking for in a stock photo (pose-wise) so just upload the photos even if you are a bit unsure, because I am amazed at what good manippers can do!
Oh wow. What a special boy. is he part paint at all? I've not seen many blue-eyed appys.

I believe he carries Splash, but I'm not sure if that makes him a paint or a pintaloosa because his expression is minimal. I also don't know his breeding so that makes it difficult to say, too. But, it is not uncommon for Appaloosas to also carry Splash. I've been told one very prolific Appy stallion carried it, but I can't remember his name right now.

Wow! This looks wonderful! When I posted this image, I wondered how it would look when used as a reference, and thanks to you I know the answer! Great! Thanks so much for following the rules! I only have one thing to ask... would you mind copying/pasting the credits on the bottom of the animated image and putting it on the non-animated one? That would be the icing on the cake!

Thanks again for using my stock!

Hehe I am so glad you like it! And yes I always try to follow the rules whenever I use stock. And thank you for posting such lovely stock for people to use! I just added the credits to the non animated one, I totally meant to add them but I must have forgot I won't forget next time!

No problem! And again thanks for posting such amazing stock, they are really helpful!

OMG HE HAS A COLLAR! THAT S SO FRIGGIN CUTE! WHERE DID YOU GET IT?

Crazy-Sparkles-Stock In reply to Finding-The-Time [2013-10-13 07:52:31 +0000 UTC]

I purchased his collar at my local tack shop. He wears it when he's turned out so that he can be easily caught by anyone, and led to the gate where he gets his real halter put on. These "head collars" are used on hard-to-catch horses, or horses that are in the process of being halter broke when they're turned out. They come in a range of colors, I think, but I would only use them under the instances I stated above and not just because it looks pretty.

Arian was not halter broke when I purchased him in September. Although he is the first one to meet you at the gate now and will even help you put his halter on, he will continue to wear the collar just-in-case for a little while longer. But yeah, you can get them at any tack shop or online. Just Google "horse head collar" to see all the results. Searching for "horse collar" will give you all harness collars instead of this one.
