Keep in mind that it rarely looks like this. It is cloudy 50% of the time... and usually that last for weeks.. other than that... it is expensive and filled with pretentious LA-type people. Other than that... it's a beautiful place!

Very beautiful BUT I can't favorite this piece because that cpyright watermark just kills this piece. If somone really wants to steal this to use they can photoshop out your water marked logo in minutes. You should consider getting rid of it so the rest of us can enjoy your work!

So many people have been bitching about the watermarks...

Yeah... some photos would be really easy to photoshop... but not this... it all depends how you position it... either way... I find that funny...

Ha ha ha...

We have smog... plus... it is the precise mathematically defined angle that the sunset light hits the clouds of smog over the city and reflects off the glass, combined with the reflection off the snow in the mountains

No stitching... just one shot... I cropped a bit top and bottom... and that was about it...

I know that colours start looking weird.. but that is partially the sunlight and partly the smog... LOL....

I love the golden hue you've achieved in this shot. The frosted mountains in the background are a great texture contrast to the glass, glass, glass. Two suggestions, though - the horizon seems slightly tilted to the right. Perhaps a rotate & re-crop would help. Secondly, I know that copyright is an important issue, but perhaps a larger, 30 or 40% transparent "watermark" would detract less from the shot.

Easily the best skyline of Vancouver (daytime) that I've ever seen, though!

arrr don't think about things like that - that can be really depressive. just live for the moment (that doesn't mean that you don't have to look after the environment!) and don't think bout the future.
